Day 1: Hanoi – Mai Chau – Puluong.
07:00 – 07:30 Pick-up from your hotel or private address in Hanoi and departure to Mai Chau, Hoa Binh.
09:30 – 10:00 Arrive at Thung Khe Pass, the beautiful scenery Pass (One of the 10 most beautiful passes in Vietnam).
11:00 -11:30 Enjoy a special lunch with the local cuisine featuring the yin-yang balance of the Asian culture. After lunch, we will be continuing the journey of exploration in Mai Chau.
13:30 - 14:00 Take a bike to explore the rice fields and limestone mountains with a unique route. See farmers working in fields and visit surrounding peaceful villages such as Pom Coong Village, Lac Village, Nhot Village, and Na Phon Village.
15:30 Explore the daily life of the Thai minority and maintain their ancient traditions and customs. You will visit an ethnic minority family in Mai Chau. Mrs. Mang's family is a local artisan with ingenuity and meticulousness who has preserved and developed the traditional embroidery and weaving craft of the Thai ethnic group. The products made entirely by hand are very delicate, with the typical floral patterns and motifs of the mountainous ethnic minorities in Vietnam.
16:00 Depart for Pu Luong Nature Reserve, which will take an hour by special-use car along narrow roads through terraced rice fields.
17:00 Check-in and relaxing, dinner at a restaurant with Vietnamese cuisine, and overnight at Pu Luong.
Day 2: Puluong – Ninh Binh.
07:00 Have breakfast and check out.
08:00 Following the small roads, we will visit remote, hidden villages such as Kho Muong and Uoi Village to learn about the local people in Pu Luong. This is a common and easy walk around the most beautiful valley of rice terraces.
Explore Doi Cave (Bat cave), this is the largest cave in Pu Luong, the spot is created by thousands of great blocks of limestone having existed for 250 million years. There are thousands of stalactites in peculiar shapes showing how magnificent nature is. Taking steps beside these cliffs and descending deep into the heart of the cave, travellers will be rewarded with a feeling of excitement by the beautiful stones and the sound of water dripping down from the ceiling.
10:00 Take a bike and start riding to explore the rice fields and limestone mountains with a unique route.
12:30 You will enjoy lunch with local cuisine.
14:00 Leave Puluong going to Ninh Binh on the way you will stop at the stunning water wheels. Get up close to each wheel and discover how water is moved from river to handmade bamboo aqueducts via simple constructions of all sizes.
17:30 Arrive Tam Coc, Ninh Binh check-in and free time.
18:30 – 19:000 Have dinner and overnight at mini resort or 4-star hotel.
Day 3: Ninh Binh (Mua Cave – Tam Coc – Hoa Lu) - Ha Noi.
07:00 – 08:00 Time for breakfast
09:30 -10:00 Arrive at Hang Mua, "Mua Cave" one of the most alluring places to get the panorama view in Ninh Binh, hiking up to the peak of Ngoa Long Mountain to take in your amazing views of the Tam Coc, Ninh Binh area.
11:00 – 11:30 Take a bike and start riding around the village to explore the gorgeous rice fields surrounded by limestone mountains with a unique route and visit a local family in the Tam Coc area. They are a traditional Vietnamese family with three generations living together. Here you will get the chance to see the house’s architecture and their daily lives.
12:30 Enjoy a special lunch prepared with the traditional cuisine, featuring the yin-yang balance of the Asian culture.
14:00 After lunch break, continue your trip with a sampan rowed by a local for about 1.5 hours to explore Tam Coc "Halong Bay on the land". The boat trip is a nice journey along the river with the peaceful scenery of limestone mountains and caves stretching along Ngo Dong River rice paddy if travelling during harvest season.
Trang An (Optional).
14:30 Arrive in Trang An and spend about 2 hours exploring Trang An, the core of a world natural heritage site, in a small boat rowed by local people. Visit many limestones, water caves, and temples along the Sao Khe River.
16:30 Arrive in Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam in the 10th century, and visit the temple of King Dinh. Under the introduction of our local guide, you will get to know more about Vietnamese history.
17.30 Leave Ninh Binh and drive straight back to Hanoi.
19:00 Arrive in Hanoi, and we will drop you off at your hotel or private address in the Hanoi Old Quarter. Trip ends.

12:00 | Transferred by tender. Embark on Dragon Bay Cruises and receive a warm welcome while enjoying the welcome drink, our cruise manager will deliver the cruise briefing and safety introduction. After that, you will check in at your cabin.
13:00 | Enjoy fabulous lunch
Inviting lunch is served while Dragon Bay Cruises set sail into magnificent Ha Long Bay – an extension of Ha Long Wonder which is much quieter and less crowded. We will pass by the famous Finger Islet, Candle Islet, and thousands of uniquely shaped limestone towers and islands.
15:30 | Explore Lan Ha Bay – Ha Long Bay
We will visit the Dark and Bright cave, famous for its pristine natural beauty and poetic features, which is one of the most attractive seascapes of Lan Ha Bay. Here you will take some photos of the romantic, lyrical local see-sights. This is also the best time for everyone to enjoy kayaking/sightseeing by bamboo boat.
Afterward, visitors immerse in the emerald-like green water of Lan Ha Bay with exciting swimming activities; an interesting activity to discover the truest beauty of the Limestone Mountains and the blue sky of Lan Ha Bay. (Please prepare a swimming suit, sun cream, and sunglasses with you)
17:00- 18:00 | Sunset Party – Cooking Class
Back to Dragon Bay and relax on the cruise. It’s time for Sunset in Ha Long Bay, a moment you will keep telling your friends/family about it. It’s not only the outstanding scenery but we also can feel the atmosphere, the temperature, and the magnificence of nature. Enjoy our “Sunset Party “and a special offer from the bar to celebrate this moment.
Cooking Demonstration is an onboard activity that helps passengers not only to sample fine cuisine but also learn more about Vietnamese culinary culture. Cruise Chef will show and guide you on how to make Vietnamese traditional dishes such as fresh or dried springing rolls and/ or how to carve different kinds of vegetables and fruits. You may be invited to participate in a fun competition with other passengers to find who is the fastest to make the dish. Finally, you can have your dish of food, enjoin yourself or share it with your companions. An interesting activity for those who love cooking and cuisine!
Before dinner, our experienced captain will choose the most tranquil area to anchor overnight.

DAY 2: LAN HA BAY – VIET HAI VILLAGE – CAT BA ISLAND

Be an early bird for a photo hunt and join our Tai-chi session on the sundeck to refresh your body and mind. If you enjoyed the sunset, we believe that you would love to see the sunrise on the bay.
07:00 | Have light breakfast
Dragon Bay Cruises continues to pass by amazing karst towers while tea, coffee, and light breakfast are served with fresh air and peaceful surroundings.
08:30 | Discover Cat Ba Island- Lan Ha Bay on the hidden route.
You will be transferred to the day tour cruise to visit the bay to go further to Cat Ba Island. You start the journey to discover Viet Hai village – a peaceful traditional fishing village with beautiful naturistic scenery by bike, through vast rice fields. We will rest and visit the old local house made from straw, mud, bamboo, etc. We will have chance to talk with the locals to understand about their daily life.
12:00: Return to the day tour cruise. You will be served lunch with a variety of dishes on the cruise.
14h00: The cruise takes you to the pristine beach area- Ba Trai Dao beach. This is the most beautiful beach in Lan Ha Bay with nature amazing white sand, very quiet and less tourists, you are free to swim or participate in kayaking activity.
16:30: Return to Dragon Bay Cruise. You will be watching the sunset fall on Lan Ha Bay, immersed in soothing or vibrant music, sipping a cocktail.
19:15: Enjoy dinner at a restaurant on Dragon Bay Cruise.
20:45 – 00:00: Enjoy the nightlife of Ha Long Bay from the deck. Immerse yourself in music, enjoy a glass of cocktail from the bar, sing karaoke and relax on the cruise. Otherwise, you can fish squid with the sailors or simply relax in the room and watch Ha Long Bay from the balcony.

08:00 | Explore Tra Bau floating village
Our small boat brings you to visit a fishing village names “ Tra Bau “ to join the kayaking experience to explore the Tra Bau area – the famous filming location for Kong Skull Island (King Kong) in Quang Ninh in 2018. You can visit the fish raft and interact with local fishermen to explore daily life and traditional fishing methods. Our conveyer boat will pass slowly through the pearl farming village so you can see how the locals cultivate pearls.

During the time, a well prepared lunch is served. Our Cruises slowly navigates emerald water and thousands of Karst Mountains towards the Harbor.

Bus transfer service by the highway from Halong to Hanoi is available for booking in advance. Arrive at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter at around 16:00 – 16:30, end of and unforgettable trip.
